On Friday I was kindly driven to Opotiki by one half of the husband and wife team behind the Ohiwa Family Park for supplies. On my return the other half highlighted how pathetic I am when it comes to being a handyman. With his help we braced my fractured rudder in an attempt to prolong its life. And all this as they prepare for their busiest time of the year!
If anyone wants to stay at a campground in New Zealand run by the most wonderful people, and be surrounded by wonderufl people, do yourself a favour and head to the Ohiwa Family Park. I have been bowled over by their friendliness and help and will find it difficult to move on tomorrow.
